Trucks can begin arriving anytime after 10:00 am. All trucks will be staged and parked on the paved lots east of the Grandstand. All trucks MUST use the Madison Street entrance.

9:30 a.m.: MANDATORY Drivers Meeting/Lead Truck Bidding
10:00 a.m.: Truck Line-Up
10:15 a.m.: Convoy Leaves Fairgrounds
11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Truck Show
12:00 p.m.: Lunch
12:15 p.m.: Auction | Raffle and presentation of awards to follow
Pre-registered drivers must check-in at the registration station. Schedule and times subject to change.
Convoy Route
Exit north side of Fairgrounds on Westport heading North, turning left (West) on Madison Ave. and turning North on Madison Road heading to Highway 38 (W 60th St. N) and turning left on to Hwy 38 following that to the E I-90 on-ramp driving to get back on I-29 S. and get back off on Madison Ave. and head back into the fairgrounds.
Lead Truck
The honor of leading the Convoy will go to the trucker who wins the bid before the parade. This is a great way to show your support for Special Olympics, as well as create exposure for your truck and company!
IMPORTANT Information
Registration Fee: $100 per truck
Company Sponsor must be registered and paid in full by September 1, 2023, to have the Company name/logo printed on the event t-shirts. Participants register by Sept. 3 to ensure a participant shirt.

Since 2004, the Truck Convoy in Sioux Falls has raised over $690,000 for individuals living with an intellectual disability in South Dakota. Your funds have made a direct impact on over 2,750 Special Olympic South Dakota Athletes! With must needed funds and awareness that the Truck Convoy provides, our beloved athletes would not have the opportunity to compete and enjoy all of the benefits that sports provide to enhance their lives.
20th Annual Sioux Falls Convoy
The Truck Convoy for Special Olympics is a celebration of the Trucking Industry in support of Special Olympics. It is a unique event where Law Enforcement makes special dispensation and escort a convoy of trucks through Sioux Falls. The event raises much-needed funds and awareness for Special Olympics.
Participants meet at W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds and are then escorted in a convoy on a pre-determined route, then back to the Fairgrounds where they are welcomed by the local Special Olympics community - athletes, families, colleagues, Law Enforcement and the organizations, companies, and agencies that make up the trucking industry.
A celebration will follow which includes lunch, awards, and auction.
